Polka Dots and Photoshop CS4 3D

You can create a Polka Dot design in any version of Photoshop. If you are using Photoshop CS4 you can go further and use the 3D filter.

Blurring out background

Sometimes a background may appear distracting as it may divert focus away from the portion of a photo you wish to concntrate on. The best way is to blur out the background. It can be done easily in any version of Photoshop in a few simple steps.

Tanned Look

You can given a tanned look to your image or even a whacky one or you can increase its richness. Do what you will in any version of Photoshop. All you need is a couple of layers, the Erazer and Brush Tool basically.

Turned Into Stone

Turn a pretty girl into stone or may be yourself, if you were wondering what you would like like as a stone statue. You do not need divine powers to do it. Just use Photoshop, whatever version you have.

Hair - Shining Hair

Do you want to make you hair shine? Just Photoshop it. No pills, no shampoo nor vitamins needed. Just Photoshop. I am referring to those glossy shampoo ads that promise to give your hair that 'extra shine'. And there is a photo of hair shining to prove the point.

Here is a photograph of a girl with lovely hair. But shampoo-makers would shake their heads and say, "Tut, tut, the hair has no shine!!"

The 'shine' added realistically with Photoshop. You can make the hair as shiny as you want to.

Face in Wood Texture

This tutorial will teach you to make a wood texture, make a vignette and apply a mask in Photoshop. It will also teach you something about layers and dragging one layer onto another. The effect you will get is that of an old world painting, though you will be using ordinary color photographs.
