Hue Saturation trick

I'm sure you must have used Hue/DSaturation umpteen times. If you use it as an Adjustment layer you can keep a portion of the image in monochrome while revealing the original colors in other parts of the image that you may want.

Multiply and Darken Blend Modes

The Multiply and Darken Blend modes in Photoshop will blend an image which is almost a silhouette with another image seamlessly. Nothing else is usually necessary.

These have been made by blending two images with only the Blend Modes.

It is quite simple to do and you can do it in any version of photoshop.

Actions

Photoshop comes with a number of Actions built in depending on your version of Photoshop. You can create your own Actions which will save you an enormous amount of time. Once you create an Action you can use it on other images letting Photoshop do the work for you in a trice.

Brush Design 2

Instant Sharpening in Photoshop

You need not be a photoshop expert to correct images that are not very sharp. All you need are three layers, desaturation,  a Black Layer mask and the Brush Tool. The process will work with all images. You can also do it in any version of photoshop.
