Adjustment Layer Curves

A Curves Adjustment Layer in Photoshop quickly improves the image, but does it subtly. If you want to do this when you have little time you should try this method. It is also very easy to do.

Adjustment Layers and Gradient Map

Adding a Gradient Map layer to a color image changes the photo to Black and White. But you can make the Blacks and Whites more prominent with a simple trick. It is much better than desaturating an image. You can also add another Gradient map and give some vintage effects. It is easy to do.

Adjustment Layers and Selective Color

To continue with Adjustment Layers, let us turn to Selective Color in Photoshop. Selective Color allows fine tuning the colors in an image as also the Highlights and Shadows.

Adjustment Layers and Solid Color
